This 2019 Chevrolet Colorado ZR2 is proof that the right combination of wheels, tires, armor, and lighting can completely redefine a truck’s look and capability. Built with both style and trail confidence in mind, this project transformed an already capable ZR2 into a more aggressive, functional, and adventure-ready rig.

From the moment it rolled out of the shop, the transformation was undeniable. The wider stance, upgraded armor, and purposeful lighting setup gave this Colorado a commanding presence — and the owner was thrilled with how it both looks and drives. This build strikes the perfect balance between daily usability and serious off-road readiness.

Build Highlights & Installed Upgrades

Wheels & Tires

• Black Rhino Armory Wheels – 18x9.5, -18mm offset, 72.56mm center bore
• Nitto Trail Grappler Tires – 35x11.50R18LT (Load Range E, 127Q, 34.7")
• Programmable Universal TPMS Sensors

The new wheel and tire package gives the ZR2 a wider, more aggressive stance while maintaining excellent traction and durability both on and off the pavement.

Body & Clearance

• AEV Colorado Front HighMark Flare Kit
• AEV Colorado Rear HighMark Flare Kit

The HighMark flares allow proper clearance for the larger tires while maintaining a clean, factory-quality appearance.

Front Armor & Recovery

• CBI Baja Front Bumper (replacing the existing aftermarket bull bar)
• RC 9,500 lb Pro Series Synthetic Winch

The CBI bumper provides improved approach angles, recovery capability, and a clean mounting solution for winch and lighting.

Lighting & Electrical

• RC 2" Amber LED Light Pods (Spot Beam)
• RIG Radiance 30" Red LED Light Bar
• Rough Country MLC-6 Universal Light Controller

This lighting package adds visibility in all conditions while keeping control intuitive and clutter-free inside the cab.
