Clean to Mean: 2015 Sahara Transformation
A once-traditional Sahara turned trail-ready monster—taller, tougher, and dripping with aggressive style from every angle.
A 2015 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sahara rolled into the shop with that classic, clean Sahara look—comfortable, capable, and ready for weekend adventures. But this customer wasn’t after “capable.” He wanted trail-dominating. And by the time we finished, this Jeep had been transformed into a full-blown beast with a seriously aggressive vibe.
We started with suspension—because stance matters, and so does clearance. An AEV 3.5” Lift Kit gave the Wrangler the height and posture it needed to tackle rough terrain with confidence, while also setting the stage for the rest of the build.
Next came the wheels and tires—arguably the biggest visual (and functional) change on any Wrangler. The customer chose Black Rhino Voyager wheels wrapped in Avix Trailtek tires, and the result is exactly what you want from a trail-ready setup: bold, rugged, and ready to dig in when the ground gets ugly.
Out back, we installed a TeraFlex Tire Carrier to handle the heavier spare with strength and stability. It’s one of those upgrades that looks tough, but more importantly, it’s built for real-world abuse—no rattles, no flex, no worries.
Up front is where the personality really hits you. A Poison Spyder Brawler Bumper instantly sharpened the Jeep’s attitude, giving it that armored, ready-for-anything presence. And because a build like this should work as hard as it looks, we paired it with a Warn VR 10-S EVO Winch and an ICON Impact Armor Fairlead Mount—a combo that’s all business when it’s time to self-recover or help a buddy out of a bad line.
The finished product? A once-traditional Sahara turned trail-ready monster—taller, tougher, and dripping with aggressive style from every angle. Best part: the customer was absolutely thrilled when he saw it completed, and honestly we don’t blame him.
